OUR INSTRUMENTAL PROGRAMS
The Harmonium is an essential instrument for Indian Classical, Bhajan, and Ghazal music. Students will learn bellows control (pumping technique), finger mapping on the keys, playing Alankars, and reading Indian notation (Sargam). We focus heavily on training students to seamlessly accompany vocalists as well as perform solo pieces.
Master the language of percussion. This course teaches the foundational 'Bols' (syllables of the drum), correct hand positioning (Nikas), and the art of maintaining a steady tempo (Laya). You will learn essential Taals like Teentaal, Keherwa, and Dadra, advancing towards complex Kaydas, Paltas, and Tihais.
Perfect for contemporary, pop, rock, and modern Bollywood lovers. Our guitar lessons cover Western music theory, standard chord progressions, strumming patterns, and fingerpicking styles. Students will progress from playing simple single-string melodies to executing complex barre chords and solos.
Known as the king of instruments, the Piano/Keyboard helps build unparalleled musical understanding. We teach students how to read standard sheet music (staff notation), develop left-hand/right-hand independence, play scales, and perform a wide variety of genres ranging from classical Western pieces to popular Bollywood melodies.
